Wayne was born in Oxnard California, with parents John and Varie Crawford and siblings Curtis and Ron. Went to Rio Mesa High School were he stood out in football and basketball. He received a scholarship to Weber State University for football. He returned home to find he had no job and no education. Soon he found himself running the streets, acting out all the wrong things in life.

Until one night he was at a revival where an evangelist laid his hands on him, and the power of the Lord set him free from the pain of guilt and shame, for what his life had become. With his Wife Karin and Son Ryan, from that point on, lived his life for the Lord. "Because of that day, I've learned that I can live a delivered life. Because the Lord loved me first, I was able to find my destiny through his grace and mercy. So I go and lift my voice to his name, telling the world Jesus Christ is Lord."

"My feelings about the coming to the knowledge of the true church are feelings of joy and happiness. I am humbled and awed by the faithfulness of Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. The plan that put people and circumstances in my path to move and guide me into His will for my life. The joy of the Saints that sends out a Spirit of love that makes you feel like you are at home. . . .even though you are strangers. Friends that gave of themselves as true missionaries to bring the joy and happiness of the Lord that they know of to me.
